I have practiced creative education since 2001, when I taught my first documentary film project in a London Secondary school. Since then I have delivered creative education projects with Battersea Arts Centre, Barbican Centre, body>data>space and A New Direction to adults and young people of all ages. These include photography projects, VJ, animation and filmmaking workshops.

I taught Documentary Practice module on MA Environmental Architecture at the Royal College of Art between 2016 and 2022. Through my work in the Teaching and Learning Exchange at UAL I have initiated and produced the Interrogating Spaces Podcast as well as publications including Frantz Fanon’s Black Skin, White Masks: Interpretations, Art and Pedagogy.

In 2025 I became a Fellow of Higher Education (FHEA) and I undertook training in Photovoice Methodology.
