Folkestone Moves is a participatory project made and presented as part of the Folkestone Fringe 2014. The project brought three artists together: A filmmaker (Gemma Riggs), a choreographer (Laura Murphy) and a sound artist (JJ Maurage) to work with Folkestone residents to make a new artwork exploring the changing social landscape of the town. The work was installed in Folkestone Harbour on 25th October 2014 as well as in the the Brewery Tap Gallery.
Folkestone Moves was selected as a featured installation at Lightmoves Festival of Screendance 2015.
